Natural Women

These were shot on film by Steven Billups, mostly in a Mexican swimming pool. Steven's laid back, mellow character explains so well the beautifully gentle, delicate and relaxed atmosphere in his artwork. I've been a big fan of his water studies in particular, for a while now, so it was absolutely wonderful to work with him and be part of his imagery.

We were joined for some of it by Meghan Claire, who has the most natural beauty you'll ever see, and is an interesting and inspiring person to talk to too. We shared a room for the week and thought we would work well together, so suggested to Steven that he shoot us as a duo... luckily he agreed!

...Just looking at these shots makes me feel so relaxed. :-)

Love number 2, 4 and 5 especially... love your closed eyes and frosted gaze, works so great with the feel - intimate, lazy, sensual, natural, bare. Reeeally nice :-)

Based in Oxfordshire/London, UK (and travelling anywhere and everywhere; click on the 'travel plans' tab near the top!), I'm a dance-trained model and writer. I began modelling for a painter while completing my Masters degree and accidentally carried on. Whether traditional or experimental, from artistic nudes to fashion shots, I strive to work with artists and photographers to help create images which are memorable, beautiful, intriguing or celebratory of the female form.

I am primarily an 'art model', taking bookings directly and independently, but am also represented by commercial agencies. I enjoy versatility and take on work across the spectrum: dance/movement, lingerie, fitness, commercial, lifestyle, wedding, fashion, beauty and portraits.

I've been lucky enough to have worked with some world-renowned photographers and artists, in many different countries and locations, yet some of my favourite images were taken by enthusiastic beginners. I am available for work with photographers, painters and artists of various media, whether amateur hobbiests or experienced industry professionals, for exhibitions, commercial publication or just portfolio building. My life-long love of dance (I have trained in various/most styles from the age of 3) allows me to use my body awareness to add creativity, expressive lines, grace, character and emotion to images I'm involved with.

They lie in parallel rows,

on ice, head to tail,

each a foot of luminosity

barred with black bands,
